Y EL OSCAR VA PARA...

Finalizada la ceremonia de la Octogésima Segunda Entrega de los Premios de la Academia, The Hurt Locker se colocó como la máxima ganadora obteniendo seis de las nueve nominaciones anunciadas semanas atrás. Avatar, con igual cantidad de nominaciones, tuvo que conformarse con 3 estatuillas y con la satisfacción de poseer un record casi inalcanzable en la taquilla mundial con más de dos billones y medio de dólares recaudados a lo largo de once semanas, equivalentes a más de cien veces lo recaudado por su máxima rival en la ceremonia e incluso sobrepasando los beneficios obtenidos por todas las contendientes en la categoría de mejor película.

Precious: Based on the Novel "Push" by Sapphire, Up y Crazy Heart hicieron lo propio, ganando dos de las categorías en que participó cada una, mientras que las producciones Inglorious Bastards, Star Trek, The Young Victoria, The Blind Side y The Cove completaron la lista de laureados ganando los reconocimientos restantes.
